Learning Focus
Semester 02 moves students from foundation knowledge to analytical, biomedical, chemical, natural product and formulation-oriented thinking.
Data & Evidence
BP201T builds statistical thinking through descriptive statistics, probability, sampling, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression and Python-based interpretation.
Biomedical Base
BP202T and BP203T connect metabolism, clinical chemistry and organ-system pathophysiology, helping students interpret disease mechanisms scientifically.
Chemistry Core
BP204T develops the organic chemistry foundation required for understanding drug molecules, reaction mechanisms and pharmaceutical applications.
Natural Products & Formulation Base
BP205T and BP206T link phytoconstituents, extraction, isolation, solubility, buffers, rheology, micromeritics and dispersion systems to pharmacy applications.
SEC Choice
BP212P allows students to select one practical skill area: communication, mental well-being and stress/conflict management, or fundamentals of computer operations.
