Semester 04 connects natural products, drug chemistry, biotechnology, public health, pharmacology and internship-based learning.
Herbal & Natural Products
BP401T and BP406P develop knowledge of plant tissue culture, standardized extracts, herbal formulations, herbal cosmetics, quality control and regulatory aspects.
Medicinal Chemistry
BP402T and BP407P strengthen drug-structure understanding through physicochemical properties, metabolism, autonomic/cardiovascular drugs, SAR and synthesis of selected drugs.
Biotechnology
BP403T and BP408P introduce recombinant DNA technology, monoclonal antibodies, enzyme immobilization, vaccines and biopharmaceutical production principles.
Public Health
BP404T and BP409P build the pharmacist’s role in health promotion, disease prevention, community awareness and public-health service delivery.
Pharmacology & Internship
